My process

After getting to know my students and what their goals and preferences are, I like to come up with a plan for them to research colleges. I help students build a balanced college list and we talk about what they like about each of the colleges on their list, while always keeping in mind academic and financial fit. Once it's time to begin applying, I can help students every step of the way with the application components, including assisting with essays, and creating a timeline so students are staying on track. I also assist students with the financial aid process and ultimately listening to students to guide them in their final decision-making process.

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
