About

Hi! I recently graduated with College Honors from UCLA where I double majored in mathematics and geography. Over the past five years I have guided over 50 students and their families through the admissions process from start to finish. I have helped my students gain admission to universities such as MIT, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Duke, Rice, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, the University of Michigan, UT Austin, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, as well as many others! When I applied to college, I was admitted to a number of selective programs, like UCSB's College of Creative Studies, and was nominated for prestigious scholarships like UC Berkeley's Regents and Chancellor's Scholarship. In my free time I love to do mathematical research, play baseball, surf, cook, and travel the world.

My process

I help my students create outstanding and successful applications by tailoring my advising to each student's goals and needs. I have helped my students gain admission to the most selective universities, programs, and scholarships by helping them create thematic applications that highlight their unique character through a holistic approach. I use both quantitative and qualitative metrics to help students develop authentic applications that make them stand out to admissions officers.

I provide advising that ranges from specific, targeted guidance for discrete components of the admissions process, such as school lists, personal statements, and interview preparation, to comprehensive advising that covers every aspect of the admissions process from start to finish. Whether I am advising on the whole admissions process or a specific part, I guide my students through every level, from the broad themes to the finest details. I help students develop and position each part of their application in way that lends something to their overall narrative while also rigorously focusing on the finer details that will set their applications apart from the crowd.

I firmly believe that students do their best work when they are comfortable, so I actively work to make the admissions process as exciting and stress-free as possible by helping students manage their approach to their applications and gain perspective on their admissions process.

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
