Over the past six years I have guided over 75 students and their families through the admissions process from start to finish. I have helped my students gain admission to universities such as MIT, UChicago, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Duke, Cornell, NYU, Vanderbilt, Rice, Carnegie Mellon, USC, Bowdoin, Georgia Tech, the University of Michigan, UT Austin, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, The Univeristy of Miami, as well as many others! Moreover, I have helped my students earn prestigious institutional and external scholarships worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and some of my students have received full-ride scholarships to their schools of choice!
When I applied to college, I was admitted to a number of selective programs, like UCSB's College of Creative Studies, and was nominated for prestigious scholarships like UC Berkeley's Regents and Chancellor's Scholarship.

My process
I provide advising that ranges from specific, targeted guidance for discrete components of the admissions process, such as school lists, personal statements, and interview preparation, to comprehensive advising that covers every aspect of the admissions process from start to finish. Whether I am advising on the whole admissions process or a specific part, I guide my students through every level, from the broad themes to the finest details. I help students develop and position each part of their application in a way that lends something to their overall narrative while also rigorously focusing on the finer points that will set their applications apart from the crowd.
I firmly believe that students do their best work when they are comfortable, so I actively work to make the admissions process as exciting and stress-free as possible by helping students manage their approach to their applications and gain perspective on their admissions process.

Acing Your Extracurricular Activities
I will guide you on how to build and effectively present an outstanding extracurricular resume. The themed session includes an hour long meeting to discuss how to build and present your extracurricular profile and an hour of offline editing for me to give line-by-line feedback of the extracurricular resume section of your college applications.
Build a Balanced School List
Too many reach schools? Can't find any safeties you actually like? This is the session for you. During this themed session I will create a unique and personalized college list for you! This themed session Includes an initial 45 minute meeting to discuss your preferences, goals, and needs, two hours of offline research and list building, and a 15 minute follow up meeting to go over your personalized list.
Interview Prep & Mock Interview
Come for a full hour-long mock interview and then a half hour of post-interview analysis.
Personal Narratives & Central Themes
I will help you develop the most important part of a college application, a unique central theme. This themed session is split into three parts. The first is an hour long meeting where we will discuss how to discover, develop, and apply your unique central application theme (CAT). This will be followed by an hour of offline editing/feedback of CAT materials that I give you after our first meeting. The last part of this themed session is another hour long meeting where we discuss my edits and feedback, and we synthesize a finalized PAN/CAT for your college applications.

Description
This is the option to pick if you have already had the first draft of your essay reviewed by me and you need further reviews/edits of said essay! For this subsequent draft review, I will provide the same level of in-depth editing as I do for the first draft!
