About

I have been an Educator for 13 years in various roles in public and private institutions. However, my favorite roles have been in College Initiatives as a College Counselor and College Transition Specialist. Helping students transition into their post-secondary pathway is an exciting and highly rewarding job and I look forward to assisting students in their future goals.

My process

I accept all students regardless of post-secondary pathway choice and assist students in becoming knowledgeable about post-secondary resources available to them. I provide a safe space in which students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests, as well as, help students develop realistic goals and approaches to their educational plans.

I specialize in:
*Assistance with all post-secondary pathways: college, career, trade/tech and military.
* Financial aid: Fafsa, Tafsa and Scholarships.
*College essay preparation and writing.
*First-generation college students

I have advising hours between 6-8pm M-F and Sat and Sun 10a-1pm.

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
