About

Lexi King earned her BS from Lees-McRae College in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. She subsequently earned her MA in Leadership from Shorter University. Currently, Lexi is pursuing a PhD from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Learning and Leadership. Prior to a career in college counseling, Lexi coached women's lacrosse at the collegiate NCAA Division 2 level. After coaching, Lexi worked in independent school admissions and then eventually college counseling. College Counseling is definitely where Lexi has pursued her passion in assisting students through the college admission process. Lexi has also helped numerous students through the athletic recruitment process. Specifically, exploring all steps of recruitment and application from contacting coaches, application review, crafting essays, and merit and financial aid.
