About

Just as my mentors have helped me define and reach my own goals, I hope to focus my time and energy on ambitious students who are embarking on their own journeys through college and beyond. I was accepted to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine's BS/MD program, and since 2020, I have been working with students in the BS/MD and pre-med admissions processes to secure their spot into careers as future physicians. Currently, I am a second-year medical student with an interest in interventional radiology.

My process

I work with students who show a strong, early interest in the field of medicine and help them craft their unique stories on why they formed a commitment to become physicians through the BS/MD process. This means advising students on identifying opportunities for future activities, maximizing the scope of present activities, and crafting effective written narratives that reflects the full depth of their past activities. I also provide concrete revisions into specific essay prompts and interviews.

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
