Ask current Ohio State students questions about academics, campus life, dorm living, and more.
The Ohio State University has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are worried about choosing a college without being able to visit in person and get a feel for campus life. In this Q&A session, we'll ask our panel of current OSU students a series of questions about everything ranging from campus life to athletics to the classroom experience. Webinar attendees will also get to participate in the second half of the Q&A.
Q&A Participants:
Ben Futterman is a first-year finance major in the Fisher College of Business. He is currently on OSU’s club tennis team, a part of the Undergraduate Finance Association, a member of the International Business Club, and on the executive board of FisherCares as a Co-Community Engagement Chair. He decided Ohio State was the perfect fit for him due to the high quality athletics, well-accredited Fisher College of Business, as well as the up and coming city of Columbus, Ohio.
Tessa Pickering is a freshman at Ohio State majoring in Landscape Architecture and minoring in city and regional planning. Within Ohio State she is a part of Best Buddies, the Club Tennis team, Alpha Rho Chi, and the Student Chapter of Landscape Architects. She is from Grafton, Ohio and chose Ohio State because of the many opportunities and all the fun that comes with being a buckeye!
Nolan Nyborg is a rising sophomore in the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Nolan is currently involved in the Undergraduate Finance Association, FisherCares, Fisher FIRST, and is on the executive board for the International Business Club. Nolan decided to come to Ohio State not only for the amazing athletics and top tier business school, but also for the immense pride that comes with being a Buckeye.
Stephanie Graham is a first-year Human Resources major through Fisher with a Nonprofit Management minor. She is currently involved in club tennis, UBWA, Global Business Learning Community, and FisherCares. She chose to go to OSU because she grew up in the Columbus area and comes from a family of Buckeyes. One of her major passions is community service and she hopes to work for a nonprofit organization after college.
