With Zen, CollegeVine is dedicated to supporting students' mental health throughout the often-stressful admissions process.
Zen by CollegeVine is the first ever free media publication dedicated to addressing the often overlooked issue of students' mental health throughout the admissions process.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that college admissions is a stressful process for students and parents alike — with all the applications to fill out, essays to write, and potential futures on the line, it’s a high-stakes game with significant emotional consequences for everyone involved.
So, why is it that nobody ever talks about the mental health aspect of admissions?
As part of CollegeVine's mission of helping families throughout the admissions process, we are dedicated to addressing this issue with Zen — an online publication written by our consultants that’s geared towards de-stressing the college applicant.
Although providing resources and guidance to help people get into their dream schools is an important part of our identity, we also understand that the admissions journey can sometimes feel overwhelming for many applicants — we’ve been there too. And we want to help.
By telling our own admissions stories and sharing the knowledge we’ve gained, we hope that we can jumpstart the discussion about the human side of college admissions and the emotional health of the applicants. Because at the end of the day, we’re all people first and students second, and nobody should have to tackle the ups and downs of college admissions alone — especially when it’s a journey that so many other people have also traveled.
