Meet the panelists: Elise, Taylor, Kameron, and Arifa

Elise is a senior from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is a Neuroscience major with a Spanish minor. She has recently applied to medical school. She is a member of the varsity Swimming & Diving team, an all-treble a cappella group called Ladies First, and a Clinical Psychophysiology research lab. Outside of all this, she enjoys being outdoors with her friends, reading historical romance novels, and binge watching crime television shows.

Taylor is a senior from Hudsonville, Michigan in the College of Education. She is majoring in Special Education with a teaching focus in Language Arts and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Taylor is a member of the university’s Honors College and the varsity swim and dive team. Outside of school she enjoys exercising, spending time with her friends and family, watching movies, and painting.

Kameron is a sophomore from Glendale Heights, Illinois in the School of Criminal Justice. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Human Behavior and Social Services. Kameron is a member of Ladies First A Cappella, Michigan State University's award-winning, only all-treble a cappella group. She has also participated in music ensembles under the College of Music including Women’s Chamber Ensemble, an all-treble choir ensemble and Concert Orchestra as a violinist. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and going on runs.

Arifa is a senior from Ann Arbor, Michigan in the James Madison College at MSU. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a Social Relations and Policy Major, Muslim Studies Minor, and Business Cognate. Arifa has been an active student in MSU life for years, serving as a JMC Student Senator, co-founder of the Womxn of Color Coalition, and Business Manager of the on-campus a cappella group Ladies First. She is a dedicated student who enjoys to laugh with her friends, take nature walks, and explore new music.
