The college experience is as multifaceted as it is dynamic. You’ve probably spent a lot of time thinking about your applications — but what happens after you actually get in?

In our kickoff episode of this new series, Hale will be discussing his experiences as a student at Yale. He'll walk you through the typical week in the life of a student and, along the way, provide tips for schedule creation and time management.

Hale will not only be covering classes, but also his extracurriculars and what he likes to do in his free time. Drop by to ask a few questions or stay for the whole stream for an in-depth look at what life is like at a top-tier Ivy League university.

53:16@sidney:If I'm really interested in environmental protection and business/finance, would it make sense if I apply as an econ major for Yale?

57:59@anonymous:Are students working collaboratively in the pre-med courses?
60:09@sidney:I have two different passions in my 'application theme', the first one is what I intend to do in the future but the second one is not something that i intend to work with, do you think that I should highlight in the application that I wanna work with both?
62:26@mimi:Do you feel that students that won national or international awards in high school do better in Yale? I am just an average student and will feel stressful to study together with those if I can get into.
64:14@anonymous:Are pets allowed in the dorms?
67:34@sidney:What is the worst and best thing about Yale?
69:32@sidney:If I have founded a project that's in 3 different countries, would it be impressive?
70:57@sidney:When describing my activities, should I do it in a funny way?
73:25@Felicitas:What are some extracurricular activities that make you stand out?
75:33@mimi:If you think that the atmosphere among Yale students is not competitive, what factors in Yales make so?
77:40@sidney:What are the resources for students interested in business at Yale?
84:02@mimi:Residential College has each grade's students. Correct?
84:22@sidney:Can you talk a little about the students who get into Yale as an econ major, and their 'application theme'. I love talking about this lol
88:10@mimi:I think it helps during this period CollegeVine gives more talks that help students to pick a college to go to.
