Can I do college prep courses at the end of my junior year?

I did try AP self-study in my junior year to have challenge course but since self-study won't be accepted as AP classes in university, I had stopped doing AP self-study for an while until few months later, I found out that community college that offer college prep courses which is seems fit to me. But I feel like it's too late to even start college prep courses at the end of my junior year. Also paying AP exams is a lot of money and my school doesn't offer AP classes neither AP exam.

It will be too late to start a community college class now, though you could potentially take some over the summer. Ask your guidance counselor for permission to do this, and if your school allows it, you could add some rigor to your transcript. In any case, it will still look good if you start doing community college classes at the beginning of your senior year. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I think of doing college classes in the summer but I will ask my guidance counselor about it. :)
