GPA question
Answered

I am an international student and my country (india) uses a 100 point scale to mark student and i know college make their own gpa in their manner but what scale should i use to get an estimate of my performance and i also tried researching it and they mentioned that 60+ is 4 which blows my mind cause that is so easy to get, is that scale true though?

Hey, fellow international student here!

To check your GPA, you can check it at the website: https://applications.wes.org/igpa-calculator/

Hope this helps (:

The common app and many college applications will let you input your grades in many different types of scales besides the 4 point scale. If it doesn't give you the option, email your admissions counselor or just admissions in general for the college, and they will tell you how to do it. Colleges are very familiar with international students, and many Indian students apply there every year. They have a system in place to determine your merit.

Yes @Lazar!

A 4.0 is 90-100.
