What is Brown really like?

I have heard a lot about Brown having a bit of drg culture, and I was wondering if that is true, because safety is a huge concern of mine, so I just wanted to confirm the truth before I made too big of assumptions.

Good question! While substance use is prevalent at most college campuses, it's important to make sure you'll feel comfortable on whichever campus you end up at. In my experience at Brown, substance use exists, but it doesn't dominate the culture — you will certainly be able to find communities on campus that take a similar approach as you (Brown even offers substance-free housing).
